Deb Salek and her husband, Todd Salek, founded AvenueWest Northern Colorado when they recognized a demand for high-quality short term housing in the local area. Deb’s background includes many years in real estate and relocation services. Todd, as COO and the head of business development, brings his vast experience in sales and customer service to AvenueWest and their clients. Todd, having traveled extensively with his previous career with a Fortune 100 company, fully appreciates the value, convenience and amenities of quality corporate housing.

Our properties are all Class A real estate with furnishings, housewares, utilities and expenses all included in one easy bill. The quality of our linens and towels is consistent in all our properties and regularly checked to make sure they are on par with our high standards. We have developed a standardized "kitchen kit" that is available to property owners to purchase to ensure the best quality products for our tenants. This provides a standard of housewares for all of our properties. See also our Standards of Quality in the right-hand sidebar on this page.
Our goal is to ensure that our clients are 100% satisfied with our properties. In order to maintain consistencies throughout our offices and the properties we offer, we have developed the AvenueWest Signature Property which provides the same minimum standards for all of these units.
Since our product is not the typical "cookie-cutter" corporate housing unit, all of our furnishings are going to be vastly different depending on the private property owner's style; however, all of the minimum required items will be the norm across all of our properties and follow all standard corporate housing inventory requirements.
We work with fully vetted linen and towel vendors to maintain consistency in the quality of all of our linens and towels. All of our linens and towels are checked after every tenant to ensure that they are still holding up to our standards. Any damaged linens and/or towels are taken out of our inventory and no additional costs will be billed to our clients for these items. All of our sheets have a minimum 200 threadcount. Pillows are replaced in between stays to ensure maximum hygiene. Mattress pads and mattresses are checked in between each tenant also. We have developed a standardized kitchen kit that can be purchased by our property owners to ensure the best quality products for our tenants, which can easily be replaced when needed. This provides a standard of housewares for all of our properties. Regardless if our property owners decide to purchase the kitchen kit, or decide to furnish the unit on their own, all of our housewares (i.e. kitchen items) will be matching.

When They Aren't Working: Spare time? Is there such a thing? Outside of juggling our kids’ sports and school activities, we try to take full advantage of the “Colorado lifestyle” with outdoor fun of the current season (skiing, hiking, camping, biking, etc.). Travel is a huge passion of ours, and enjoying a glass of wine and dinner with friends is always good! I [Deb] dabble with cooking (and Todd graciously eats my mistakes), love reading, and have fantasies about painting a picture for our dining room wall, and writing a children’s book too someday.
